How To Get Employers Calling You With Job Offers
In their work as personnel consultants to the sales and customer service industries, the authors receive and read many resumes (CVs). They find that few give them either the information or ‘sizzle' an employer needs to excite them into action.
Your CV is your sales document, yet most are either a chore to read, wordy and difficult to understand or simply fail to provide the "right stuff" to gain the all important interview. Poorly prepared resumes also fail to make a case for the profit opportunity that the candidate may represent to the target employer.
Yet a well-prepared resume grabs an employer's attention; it has a sense of urgency and interest. It quickly announces that the applicant is an achiever and contains the information along with references to back it up.
This e-book covers:
- The basic resume writing rules
- The do's and don'ts of writing a great CV
- 10 questions in a prospective employer's mind when about to recruit
- How to create a summary
- The need to highlight achievements and attributes
- The vital need for verbal referees
- Creative ways to make sure your CV gets read
As the global economy recovers, more and more organizations will start re-employing. Will your CV get past first base? Does it have the ‘sizzle' to get you that interview.
If it doesn't then you need to follow the steps outlined in this book by two people who have spent a lifetime reading CVs.
