This session on coaching people provides you with some basic tools that can be used to develop people and improve performance through coaching. It explores the benefits of coaching and when it is useful. The session also examines two of the core skills of coaching, as well as providing a structure for effective coaching conversations to ensure they bring about results.
In particular, by the end of the Power Hour you will be able to:
- Explain what coaching is, and when it can be useful
- Describe the key skills of coaching, and provide examples of good practice
- Use the GROW Model to structure coaching and achieve a positive outcome

She has over 20 years experience of designing training for other people to use but is also an experienced facilitator, qualified coach and NLP business practitioner too! Most of Sheridan's experience has been gained working with managers and front-line staff in retail, manufacturing, utilities and financial services.
