A couple of years ago, Michael Taplin decided to capture what he had learned in his various roles in business and education and share it with people all over the world who have a passion for improving their business performance.

He set up www.bizlearn.biz and started writing and creating business models and on-line tutorials.  Even though the fast moving world of Web2.0 is challenging, the feedback he received on a regular basis convinced him that there are some enduring business ideas that can be adopted to great advantage by today’s managers.

A lengthy business career working with outstanding people, clients and colleagues provided Michael with a fund of stories, successes and failures, trials, tribulations and some brilliant solutions. 

He served his apprenticeship in manufacturing; moved into consulting and training after going back to school to learn how to do it.  Part-time study earned him an MBA and a Graduate Diploma in Management from RMIT in Australia, and he now lives in rural New Zealand using broadband to communicate around the world.

Bizlearn.biz has become "the home of KPI modeling"on the web in just 12 months, and the resource library grows week by week and The Corporate Toolbox is very proud to have Michael in our stable of leading edge contributors.
