Sales is a Confidence Game


If you're in business or you live on planet earth you need to be able to communicate your ideas and your point of view clearly, persuasively and effectively - just to survive.

Recently I clocked up 8 years in this business and my first 12 months trading under my own banner. 

I've also been having a really good, hard look at why I am so psyched to keep doing this amazing work... 

Here's what I came up with... 

From JFK to Steve Jobs to Richard Branson, the ability to communicate powerfully and to inspire passion and enthusiasm in others remains alongside love as one of the most powerful forces in the universe. 

As a kid I was always fascinated by different personality patterns in my different friends and always marveled at how a subtle 
change in your approach with someone could cause you to "get along" with people so much better. 

Most business and sales people are not born with great skills of influence - the better ones have a pre - disposition for it. 

Many struggle and stay stagnant in positions for years, never progressing, staying trapped in a limited circle of influence with 
a glass ceiling they can't escape. 

When you expand your ability to communicate and influence powerfully you become more confident. 

When you become more confident you feel more powerful. 

And when you feel powerful you can become anything you ever dreamed of 

Why ? 

Because feeling powerful allows you to convince yourself 

To be able to convince yourself, to back yourself and to get yourself to do what needs to be done is the most powerful skill of all. 

Seeing this in the individuals, teams and companies I work with lights me up like a pin ball machine.

It's why I've never deviated from what I do best and it's what gets me out of bed in the morning. 

The power for you to influence positively will never become a commodity. 

Back yourself in business and in life - because what you're passionate about and what you focus on cannot, not expand.
