Incidentally, I love this stuff. I mean, call me a weirdo
but I love learning about how the brain works as it
relates to the sales process.
So here's the thing that I just had to share with you.
If you have a feeling or demonstrate "neediness" of
any kind, either physiologically, verbally or mentally
to a prospective client it actually triggers a FEAR
RESPONSE in the reptilian part of the brain.
This is the part that is driven by the amygdala
(both primal and the first parts of the human brain
to develop in the evolution of man)
The parts that are in charge of the Flight or Fight
So apart from being pretty full on...
What does this mean ?
It means that if you demonstrate even the slightest
hint of being desperate or needy to a client it's
literally like cryptonite.
It will kills sales immediately.
So what do you do?
You need to alter all your communication
and positioning to eliminate any trace of desperation
Take care of yourself and the ones you love.
