Accountability - The Ultimate Power to Change Behavior

I'm going to give you a really simply idea you can apply to improve any part of your business or your life.

As it relates to changing your own or other people’s behavior.

Are you ready? here it is...

Be and make others accountable!

Here's a couple of examples...

Want to write a book?

Write down a list of the people in your life you respect the most set yourself enough time to allow you to write a book and invite
all the people on the above list to a "book completion party" at the end of your allotted time.

I guarantee you will finish that book.

Why? because you won't want to face all the people you respect the most with that book not done.

Here's another one...

instead of going to the gym tomorrow morning on your own, arrange to meet a buddy there - you're 400% more likely to go if you made a commitment to someone else to be there.

It's the same for business...

Make a business commitment preferably that's time based with a deadline plus a time to report back to someone you respect and you automatically quadruple your chances of actually achieving it.

Could be a sales target, a new client almost anything you can think of that you need to get done - and you will be a whole stack more likely to pull that sucker off.

If you're a sales manager it works with your team...

in fact, it's the single biggest thing that I've seen work when it comes to changing business, sales behavior and activity in the
organisations I work with...

Take care of yourself and the ones you love
