7 Provocative Thoughts To Add to your Success Toolbox in 2014

by

I suggest you add these Provocative Thoughts into your Success Toolbox, the Toolbox that presently contains all the resources you use to create and live the life that inspires you.

Each of these 7 Provocative Thoughts are used by me, on a day to day basis. You might say that they are some of my secrets, that I only rarely share with others. I certainly do not share them with those who have little awareness of what a passionate life is all about!

So, here goes.

Thought No. 1:

You become what you think about most of the time. Today, you in physical form and experience are the result of the thoughts you have had prior to today. So, guard your thoughts!

Thought No. 2:

Your reward as a human being for solving problems is not peace, or happiness, or satisfaction: it is bigger problems! So, love your problems, because you attracted them, you deserve them, and it is only through solving problems that you grow and improve.

Thought No. 3:

You are either growing or dying: there is no standing still. Are you growing enough? How are you growing? The motor car industry is dying because far too many workers in that industry chose not to grow. Far too many workers around the world resist learning. How can you possibly thrive in a changing world if you are not hungry to learn and grow and improve?

Thought No. 4:

You are responsible for your life. Resist the urge to blame anyone for where you are right now. Resist the urge to complain. Resist the urge to play victim. You are responsible and you can change your life. It is up to nobody but you!

Thought No. 5:

Your physical, mental and spiritual health are precious resources, and most people do not treat them as such. As the Dalai Lama says: “I don’t understand you Westerners! You sacrifice your health when you are young to make money, and then you spend that money to try to regain your health.” I have almost never sacrificed my health for money. Don’t do that!

Thought No. 6:

Making love with someone you love is one of the healthiest things you can do, and most people I know are too tired, too bored, too passionless, too uninspired and too unfit to do anything of this. I recommend, based on science, love-making at least three times per week.

Thought No. 7:

Living without passion is a lousy way to live! Don’t do this either! You are meant to be pursuing your passion, doing what it is that you uniquely see needs to be done. You do not need permission to live such a life, other than permission from yourself. The benefits to you are wondrous when you live such a life:

  • You have massive energy
  • You face your problems and handle them
  • You are more attractive to other people around you
  • You earn more money because you can add more value
  • You have much more fun,
  • And many more benefits, too numerous to mention!

QUOTES TO CONSIDER

"Let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself."

Franklin D. Roosevelt, 32nd President of the USA.

Are you fearful of living the life that your spirit yearns for?

"There is no security in this life, only opportunity."

Douglas MacArthur, Allied Commander, USA, World War II.
