Colin Bruce Downey’s career began in the automotive repair industry. It didn’t take him long to become dissatisfied with being covered in dirt and grease day in and day and so he bought his own business looking after motorist’s needs. It was here that he realized the power of having good sales skills – something no-one had ever taught him.

The company grew rapidly and he was made an offer for the business that he couldn’t refuse. This led him to working in other sales positions in the Employment, Advertising, Automotive aftermarket, and Engineering supply industries.
