Working Mums feel 10 years older than non-working Mums

The you-can-have-everything-be-everythng-do-everything message is taking it's toll!

I really feel for families where survival means both parents working in full time jobs. I'm a grandmother now and I am so pleased that our kids all decided that the Mum's wouldn't work until their littlies were at school - it has meant they have had to do without a lot of the luxuries their friends have, but it is a decision they all made (between us we have four children and three of our children between them have 7 children).

A big decision I know.

But now that statistics are showing the COST on the Mum - I hope a few more women will decide to delay gratification also (and Dads).

The study was done by British insurer PruHealth (Telegraph Group Ltd).

I remember an old lady telling me when I was much younger - we spend our health gaining our wealth and then have to spend our wealth trying to regain our health!! Don't you love old ladies?
