While Govts argue over carbon many companies clean up their act
Huge issue I know the whole emissions thing - my fear is that it will just turn into another charade where people (probably banks) make money out of the process with no care or interest in the underlying intention - like save the planet!
Fortunately many companies are just 'getting on with it'
Just read that 'Tesco' one of the world's largest supermarket chains is planning to HALVE their emissions throughout every store by 2020. Way to go Tesco!
So not only does it make good corporate sense (as in image and reputation and showing leadership), it is actually good business sense. The savings to be made by going green are seriously worth pursuing.
So while governments argue and whole planeloads of bureaucrats catch planes to string out the gravy train - why don't the rest of us JUST GET ON WITH IT!!!
