* the 2009 customer is unrecognizable from the 1999 customer. If you business looks the same now as it did in 1999 you risk irrelevancy
* Consumers of every age are moving from offline to online.
* If your marketing still focuses on TV or magazines you are wasting your money
* 25% of households have Tivo or equivalent - they skip the advertising
