So Twitter is about to monetise it's site??

Having spent 3 years building The Corporate Toolbox I'm always looking to see how other businesses monetise their websites.

I was fascinated to learn that Twitter so far has made no money, and even more fascinated when they turned down $500m dollars from Facebook. I understand even Google is interested in buying them - presumably right now they could name their price. But they have remained steadfast and determined to go their own way. Good for them.

So it will be very interesting to see how they intend to monetise - like the rest of the online world, I'll be watching that space.
