Read the story of Arfa - a man who had 20 epileptic fits a day and risked radical surgery

Barry is a man who had horrific epileptic fits. He missed so much school; could only get very basic jobs, and couldn't even hold those down. He would have fits - destroy shop fittings and developed a tendency to wake up in women's toilets!
He was offered and took the opportunity to be a guinea pig for very radical brain surgery which could kill him, leave him as a total vegetable or cure him.
He had the surgery.
