Are you a thinker, talker, doer, maintainer or sorter?
In my business I get invited to be involved in a wide array of joint ventures and I'm always willing to listen if the idea is in line with what I am doing with The Corporate Toolbox.
Recently I met a young guy who had a fabulous idea (thinker) - he had a great sales pitch (talker) but it became clear quite quickly that he was NOT a doer! Fortunately I AM so we will make things work, because it is something that could grow into a very powrful process for the toolbox.
AND because I saw the potential, I brought in some of my people who will pick up the slack.
But it just got me thinking about people who come up with great ideas that go nowhere because they are NOT doers, and they don't necessarily have the patience to find the doers before they rush off the the next great idea....and the next ....and the next.
So are you:
Thinker? Idea
Talker? Salesperson
DOER? Implementor
Maintainer? Takes over from the implementor and keeps things happening
