We all came into 2011 with such high hopes. The start of a new decade, hopefully the worls for the global melt-dwon behind us, and then wham and wham and wham again..

In NZ we had the September earthquake (not 2011 I agree but the aftershocks were still being flet); then we had the NZ mining disaster with 29 people tragically dying; then we had the Australian floods and the Australian cyclone, then the 2nd Chritchurch earthquake and now the Japanese disaster.

It would be very easy to go back to bed, pull the blankets over our heads and decide to slepp for the rest of the year.

But don't do that - life will go on, businesses will survive, humans are pretty stalwart creatures when faced with a crisis.
