Kim is described as "a positive, open, friendly and inspiring woman". Kim helps people achieve more by speaking at conferences in her role as professional speaker, running seminars and training programmes, organising events, and through the books she provides.
Kim holds the National Speakers Association APS level of certification (Accredited Professional Speaker). One of only 7 people in New Zealand.
Kim is an educational and motivational speaker and trainer, she has won many speaking awards, and is the founding President of Wellington National Speakers Association, the peak body for professional speakers.
Kim has spent several years studying all levels of speakers, from beginners to experienced, in order to evaluate, analyse and help people improve their speaking skills. She is the 2002 New Zealand National Toastmasters Evaluation Champion. Kim also studies the world's top speakers to analyse their techniques for presenting with impact. She incorporates these techniques into her training.
Her passion is to help people achieve, and to help people learn while having fun (you learn more when you laugh), and she has written two educational books based on this principle (75 Tips for Effective Communication 2008). Her third book Successful Woman was published in 2004.
In 2000 she was voted as one of the top newsletter writers in the world.
