Jon graduated from Durham University and worked in a range of financial service areas, including mergers and acquisitions and business insolvency. Jon also spent a period in forensic investigations, tracking Nazi war gold in Zurich, Switzerland.
He progressed to consult for the UK government in areas including the alignment of financial planning with strategic targets, the relevance of key performance indicators and the role of motivation in employee absence from work.
Jon also has a background as an elite athlete, having competed on Sky Sports, BBC television and at international grand prixs. He has a unique experience of how to adapt the mental techniques essential to success in the world of sport to business.
Jon now speaks at conferences and seminars and consults as a leading authority on the impact of inhibiting beliefs and the critical function of motivation in business and personal success.
He specialises in strategies to deal with confidence, ensure employee and personal motivation, engage people and break through self imposed ceilings on performance.
