The real value add to those customers was the sharing of experience gained in dealing with so many business situations over a long period of time. Understanding their financial needs and being able to support them with bank products and services was a given!

In earlier days he was an Operations Manager responsible for HR/ H&S/ Training and Assessment, had 2 years experience of Internal Audit and also managed sales teams. He was also a director of Kingston Chamber of Commerce (8 years) when he had to deal with members in very different way.

Since leaving Barclays in 2006 he was Group Treasurer then Group HR & Operations Director for an internationally based SME IT Services Group and became a "game keeper turned poacher" quite successfully! For the last 18 months he has run Webbery Associates Ltd- Business & Business Finance Consultants. They provide consultancy, advice and support to (largely) owner managed businesses in London & the South East. Help can be provided to meet individual needs in the areas of business and financial management, business planning and arranging bank finance.
