In earlier days he was an Operations Manager responsible for HR/ H&S/ Training and Assessment, had 2 years experience of Internal Audit and also managed sales teams. He was also a director of Kingston Chamber of Commerce (8 years) when he had to deal with members in very different way.
Since leaving Barclays in 2006 he was Group Treasurer then Group HR & Operations Director for an internationally based SME IT Services Group and became a "game keeper turned poacher" quite successfully!
