He was born in Russia and immigrated to the United States when he was 4 years old and landed in Minnesota.
He confesses to have attempted many startups; he tried making a home theater company, an e-commerce website, an invention of electric rollerskates called Skataz and a non-profit called Stamps4Africa.
He worked on these startups while going to college and working in consumer retail stores such as Best Buy. He found that the knowledge in business books could completely change the strategy of a business, so he focused on reading about others experiences and insights, and learning from experts in field.
He bootstrapped Skataz, raised funds and worked on it for several years then went back to college and studied science for one more year as he thought it might be useful for creating medical device inventions.
He then has studied Judiasim and has looked at incorporating it into the strategy of living life and is now in Israel working in the startup scene.
